Ajwa has been cultivated for over 1,400 years in the orchards of Al-Madinah, and its name is inseparable from Islamic heritage. Its palms draw from the city's ancient wells, and Madinan families pass down their care from one generation to the next.

A delicate, restrained sweetness with notes of raisin and dark caramel, and a texture that melts on the palate. Usually enjoyed soft, it stores well when kept cool.

A hadith states that whoever eats seven Ajwa dates in the morning will not be harmed that day by poison or magic — granting the variety an exceptional spiritual and medicinal status across the Muslim world.
