Along Wadi Bisha, the peninsula's longest wadi, palm forests of over two million trees make Bisha the most important date region of the Saudi south. The famous Sufri of Bisha is nicknamed the gold of the south for its quality and long shelf life.
Each season the Bisha Date Festival gathers the farmers of Aseer and the south in one of the Kingdom's most storied seasonal markets.
